About Me

Hello, my name is Kate Cassels and I am a fiber artist / designer living in Rochester, New York.

My eclectic body of work is rooted in craft and simple design. This collection is the result of being raised by a goldsmith and an art teacher. They come from my adoration of great modernists like Agnes Martin, and of my grandmothers handmade pop-up cards. They are a culmination of my love for sewing and my unreasonable longing to touch everything I have ever seen in a museum.

I studied Fibers at Savannah College of Art & Design. I'm originally from Ocean City, Maryland.

Lavender + Peppermint / Buckwheat Mask

Cotton eye mask filled with organic buckwheat and lavender. Can be heated in the microwave for 30 seconds or cooled in the freezer. Made for the lovely Miss Jen Ko. Masks made for Girls Rock! Rochester fundraiser this past weekend.
